We’re delighted to share that CrankPots will be exhibiting at this year’s Annual SCG Exhibition and Ceramic Sale, held in the stunning Great Kitchen at Bishop’s Palace, Chichester, from Saturday 26 July to Sunday 10 August 2025. This prestigious event, hosted by the Southern Ceramic Group, features over 65 talented local ceramicists and showcases more than 700 unique pieces — all available to view and purchase. It’s a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the vibrant ceramic community in the South. CrankPots will be proudly displaying a selection of work reflecting the diversity and imagination that thrives in our studio. From wheel-thrown vessels to sculptural forms and decorative pieces, our contributions highlight the joy and artistry of working with clay. The exhibition takes place in the historic Great Kitchen, a breathtaking medieval space next to Chichester Cathedral, complete with a rare and magnificent hammerbeam roof — a must-see for architecture lovers and art enthusiasts alike. Stewards at the event — all local potters — will be on hand to guide you through the displays and share insights into the work on show. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the makers, learn about their processes, and find a piece that speaks to you.
